HELP!

The first thing you need to do is find something that you want to buy!

You can use our Search function (Simple or Pre-defined) to find something based on keywords or its description, or you can Browse within categories. (Our Pre-defined search contain options for you to search by product type, cost range or other properties, such Australian Made products.)

On the left of the screen, you will see a series of text descriptions of product categories, for example: Science. You can click on one of these categories to see all of products available within that category. If it is a large group, there will be a small arrow next to the category name, and when you position your cursor over this category, it will expand out to a group of subcategories. You go straight to this subcategory, or go to the main category and navigate down to the sub-categories. Hint! - don't assume that all of the items in a category are contained in sub-categories. There are often items at the category level.

Alternatively, you can click on a product of interest [More Info] and check that the description fits your needs. If unsure, most products contain a link to a product web site where more detailed information can be obtained. You can order an item from this description page by clicking on the Add to Cart button, again after checking the quantity is correct.

We provide as much information as is reasonably possible about our products, including in many cases multiple large images. You can view our guide to the information contained on each detail page by clicking here. (Requires Acrobat Reader)

Don't Panic. Remember all orders are tentative. You can remove items or adjust quantities before finalising your order.

When you have finished shopping, click on View Cart button at the top of the page.

When all looks OK, click on the Checkout >> button at the bottom of the list.

If you have shopped with us before, enter your email address and password, so we can recall your details from your last order, and click on the continue >> button. (If you can't remember your password, you can use the forgot password button. If you use this, we will ask for your e-mail address and postcode and then supply the hint you provided us with when you first registered.)

When complete, click on the Register >> button.

If you select to pay by credit card online, your will be presented with a secure form (Notice the padlock at the bottom of the screen in Internet Explorer. This means that your credit card details will be encrypted when they are sent to us. See our Privacy & Security page for more information.) 

Once you have entered all of the relevant information, click on the Continue button at the bottom of the form to complete your order. You will then be presented with a receipt which you can print or e-mail to yourself for your records.

If you selected to pay by Fax or Cheque, you will be presented with details of your order and a request to print out the "printer friendly" version of the order and send this to us. In the case of credit card orders, you need to fill in your credit card details, and then fax or post it to us. 

For payment by cheque, you just need to include a cheque with the form and post it to us at the address provided. Please allow a few days for your cheque to clear.

For payment via telephone, you can ring us on the number provided and quote the order number, amount and your credit card details. 

You can also check the status of your order by logging in and clicking on the Order Status button at the top of the page.
